The three-day programme agenda for the first International Mangrove Conservation and Restoration Conference taking place 10 -12 December 2024 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is currently being planned and will be published as soon as possible after the submission of abstracts. The opening and closing addresses, plenary sessions, panel discussions and parallel practical field sessions and working sessions are being planned around the key themes of best practices in mangrove restoration, integrated seascape approach to restoration, mangroves in the Arabian Peninsula, and climate mitigation and adaptation through restoration.

These topics will enable everyone working on mangrove and other coastal ecosystem conservation and restoration to learn more about the application of science and implementation of best practice, discuss with people from all over the world and to share case studies.
