The inaugural International Mangrove Conservation and Restoration Conference (IMCRC) welcomes original contributions for oral, poster or workshop submissions to be presented at the conference.  

The conference aims to discuss, evaluate, and energise the development of innovative solutions for mangrove restoration, promoting science-based restoration and contributing to mitigating the effects of climate change.  

Particular attention will be given to submissions that showcase initiatives dedicated to holistic science-based coastal ecosystem restoration, showcasing innovations, aligning with conference thematic areas and bridging across disciplines, sectors, and thematic areas while also promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. 

When submitting abstracts for review, authors are requested to select from the four conference themes that best fits their talk. This will be used to group similar talks together into sessions and will facilitate review of abstracts.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically and in English, in word or pdf, with a maximum of 1500 characters. The submission deadline is Sunday, 16 June 2024, 6pm GMT to admi@ead.gov.ae. To learn more about the guidelines for abstract submissions please visit here.
